Coach's Week 5 & 6 Review
The System Pause
Halfway through Week 5, Joshua suffered a setback with an intense pain flare-up in his L5/S1 herniated disc. This required an immediate halt to all training. At the end of Week 6, we made a determination to enter a Recovery Side Quest. The pain level has gone down significantly, however it would be irresponsible and foolish to jump back into running or lifting, so that’s why we are calling this week and perhaps next week a Recovery Side Quest.
Goals for this week are to get back into the routine of movement, stretching and to ensure the habits we’ve been building aren’t broken. This is a critical test of overcoming Joshua’s all or nothing mindset
This setback has delayed us, but it won’t stop Joshua or Codename: Resurgam!
Once recovery is complete, we enter Block 2 with caution.

The Coliseum of Hero is extremely important for how Joshua views himself and his progress.
This week shows how an injury can negatively affect the entire Coliseum of Hero, drops almost across the board, which is to be expected. What’s important now is rebounding.
